A 19th century 12 bore flintlock gun made for South Africa, heavy sighted two stage barrel 32 in., Birmingham proofed; lock with retailer's name of J.S.F. Botha, spurred cock, double set trigger; full stocked, the barrel secured by two keys, heavy butt with shaped cheek rest, brass tipped wooden ramrod.
