A flintlock blunderbuss, steel barrel 30 in., with pronounced flare at the muzzle, breech stamped with London Company view and proof marks and 'ID', engraved lock signed 'Wilson', flat ring necked cock, full stock with brass furniture including engraved butt plate tang and cartouche, later engraved and scrolling side plate, brass tipped ramrod, appears to be a composite weapon with the barrel adapted from a shortened musket with the addition of the flared forward part.
