A George IV matched silver entrée dish and cover,
by William Bateman, London 1826 and 1827,
rectangular form, gadroon borders, the pull-off cover with a detachable gadroon handle, the cover with an armorial, the base with a crest, numbered '1' and '2', length 29cm, approx. weight 58.5oz.
The arms are that of Spechford or Sparchford.
