A William IV silver hot water pot,

by J and J Angell, London 1836,

baluster form, leaf capped scroll handle, the hinged cover with a flower finial, with inscribed 'Presented to William Hustler Esg on his secession from Office of High Sheriff of N S Wales by the Bailiffs of the various Districts, as an acknowledgement of their respect and esteem for him, Sydney, Dec 1842', on a raised circular foot, height 16cm, approx. weight 11.5oz.
