the brass eight day drum movement striking on a bell, the back plate stamped with a pastille for 'Japy Freres' and 'Horlogerie Paris' numbered '4421', the circular dial with Roman numerals, the Louis XVI style case with an urn finial, the front panel painted with a mother and child playing with a bird
