all over carved with a wild boar hunt with hound dogs, with the Royal Coat of Arms and a portrait medallion of George I, inscribed 'Georgius. D.C. Brit. Et. Hib. Rex. 1715', flanked by cherubs, with scrolling leaves and a Bacchic satyr mask, with a silver mount, unmarked, and a boar's head mouthpiece
