A 19th century Scottish carved 'blind man' snuff box,
carved in high relief throughout, the rectangular lid depicting Tam O'Shanter on his horse Bess, crossing a bridge, the horse's tail being held by a witch, the sides carved with dogs and recumbent rams, geometric borders, length 15.3cm.
