baluster form, applied with a lion head and winged figures, with chased foliate scroll decoration, on a matted background, the hinged cover with a squeeze-action opening mechanism, the scroll handle with ivory insulators, engraved with a monogram and presentation inscription, on a raised circular foot, height 37cm, approx. weight 42.9oz.
