A George II silver sugar bowl and cover,
by George Jones, London 1743,
circular form, chased foliate and shell border, engraved with an armorial the pull-off cover with a similar border and with a crest, on a circular foot, the underside later inscribed, diameter 10.5cm, approx. weight 9.7oz.
The crest is that of Baron Mowbray, Segrave and Stourton.
