A pair of 17th century commemorative carved amber handled knives,
unmarked, the steel blades with cutler's marks,
the handles carved with the portraits of Charles I and Queen Henrietta Maria, with gilded filigree crowns, the ferrules with masks, and scroll and bead decoration, with traces of gilding, in a fitted leather case, the cover replaced and repaired. length 21.7cm.
