Description

An early 19th century Scottish mahogany longcase clock, the 8 day movement striking on a bell to a 13in circular enamelled dial, with subsidiary seconds and calendar dials inscribed 'JNO WALLACE, LENEN,' the arched hood with a brass bezel door and moulded angles above an arched waist door, flanked by fluted quarter pilasters, the panel base on bracket feet, 78in (198cm). Pendulum, two weights and winding key.
