with a fretwork swan neck cornice, above a dentil moulding and a pair of astragal glazed doors enclosing three adjustable shelves, the hinged fall revealing an interior fitted with pigeonholes and drawers, with a central cupboard and a later baize lined writing surface, above two short and three long drawers
