He produced a wide range of furniture in the French manner, specializing in commodes in the Louis XV / XVI styles, inlaid with floral marquetry and with gilt bronze mounts. His clients included the Duke of Bedford at Woburn Abbey, the Earl of Coventry at Croome Court and the Duchess of Northumberland at Woburn.
