A GEORGE II GILTWOOD WALL MIRROR
IN THE MANNER OF WILLIAM KENT, C.1740
the later rectangular plate within a ribbon and floret slip, with leaf and baton outer borders, applied with scrolls and with acorns and oak leaves, with a conforming frieze centred with a grotesque cartouche, with a broken pediment centred with a scallop shell
