A PAIR OF REGENCY PLASTER TORCHERE FIGURES OF BACCHUS AND FLORA
IN THE MANNER OF HUMPHREY HOPPER, EARLY 19TH CENTURY
possibly after the bronze model by Pierre Garnier, Bacchus draped with a lion's pelt and holding a gilt brass wine cup, Flora standing beside a tree stump holding an ewer, each supporting a frosted glass storm lantern shade, mounted on gilt bronze bases and on modern painted wood plinths (8)
