the terminal with the Regimental badge, plus an Indian Regimental silver Fiddle, Thread and Shell teaspoon, The 43rd Madras Infantry, by Hamilton and Co. Calcutta, and a Regimental electroplated egg cup, The 3rd Hyderabad Contingent, by Mappin and Webb, approx. weighable 2.8oz. (4)
The Madras Artillery was absorbed into the Royal Artillery as the 17th, 20th and 23rd Brigades.
