Description

A Victorian silver Regimental Fiddle, Thread and Shell pattern basting spoon, The 32nd Madras Native Infantry,
by Elizabeth Eaton, London 1850,
the terminal with the regimental badge, length 31.3cm, approx. weight 6.7oz.
In 1890 it became the 4th Burma Infantry and by 1922 it was the 5th Bn. 8th Punjab Regiment. On partition in 1947 it was allocated to Pakistan.
