A matched pair of German parcel-gilt silver nefs,

with import marks for London 1925 and 1926, importer's marks of Catchpole & Williams Ltd, and John George Piddington,

the hull with and embossed with classical scenes with armorials, the rudder engraved with a mythical dolphin, each hull with eight canons, with an anchor and chain, on four pierced wheels with mythical dolphin mounts, the deck with a canopy, and various figures, with two masts in full sail and with crow's nests, the top of the masts with flags, height 24.5cm, approx. weight 44.8oz.
