λA 19th century composition and pressed tortoiseshell snuff box,
circa 1820-30,
circular form, with wriggle-work decoration on a turned pale green ground, the border with star motifs, the underside with similar decoration and with a basket weave border, tortoiseshell lined, diameter 8.2cm.
Provenance: purchased from Bonhams, Knightsbridge, 12 October 2004.
