A CHINESE CARVED SOAPSTONE FIGURE OF BUDAI
18TH CENTURY
The reclining deity with his face carved with defined features, his left hand holding prayer beads and a cloth sack in the other, dressed in open robes decorated with ruyi-clouds, revealing his large belly, together with a wood stand, 12.2cm. (2)
