15TH CENTURY
The lobed sides rising to a barbed rim, carved in relief through multiple layers of black, red and ochre, with a central motif of a ruyi-shaped floret, surrounded by two concentric bands of ruyi-clouds, 13.6cm.
Provenance: an English private collection, Surrey, UK; sold on behalf of Parkinson's UK.
