A CHINESE KINGFISHER FEATHER HEADDRESS
QING DYNASTY/REPUBLIC PERIOD
The front decorated with two four-clawed dragons confronting a flaming pearl, surrounded by stylised phoenix, bats, insects and foliage, the back with a band of the Eight Daoist Emblems, embellished with semi-precious stones, simulated pearls and filigree metalwork, together with a metal stand with a perspex circular top, 19cm wide.
