A PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE 'FLOWER AND BIRD' DISHES
SIX CHARACTER GUANGXU MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD 1875-1908
Each painted with a pair of birds amongst rockwork and leafy floral branches, including chrysanthemum and hydrangea, the undersides decorated with iron-red sprays, 16.8cm. (2)
Provenance: an English private collection, Bristol, purchased from Wain Antiques Tetbury, 15th February 1986, a copy of the invoice is available.
