A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE MALLET-SHAPED 'SCHOLAR' VASE
KANGXI 1662-1722
The body raised on a short straight foot, with a cylindrical neck and flared rim, painted with a continuous scene depicting a scholar with his attendants in a fenced garden, below bands of ruyi-heads, chevrons and sawtooth designs, 26cm.
