A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'SQUIRRELS AND GRAPE VINE' BOWL
KANGXI 1662-1722
The deep rounded sides rising from a gently splayed foot to an everted rim, the exterior decorated with scrolling grapevines, with small squirrels clambering amidst the fruiting branches, the interior painted with a central medallion containing further clusters of grapes and a squirrel, the base with a six character Chenghua mark, 16cm.
