A LARGE CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE BRUSHPOT, BITONG
QING DYNASTY
The cylindrical body painted with three female Immortals in a fenced garden, including Magu and He Xiangu, amidst precious objects, rockwork and pine trees, each dressed in colourful flowing robes, accompanied by a spotted deer and two cranes, with a reticulated wood stand, 19.1cm wide. (2)
Provenance: an English private collection, acquired from Binsted Antiques, Teddington, on 25th November 1985, a copy of the invoice is available.
