A CHINESE TURQUOISE GLAZED 'DRAGON' VASE

19TH CENTURY

The globular body decorated with two dragons emerging from crashing waves, contesting a flaming pearl, the waisted neck with a pair of elephant mask handles, the base with a label for George Eumorfopoulos E401, with a reticulated wood stand, 31cm. (2)

Provenance: formerly in the collections of George Eumorfopoulos; purchased from Michael Marriott Ltd. London, 23rd July 1989, a copy of the invoice is available.
