A CHINESE LONGQUAN CELADON 'LOTUS' DISH
EARLY MING DYNASTY
The heavily potted rounded sides rising to an everted rim, supported on a short tapering foot, the well carved with a lotus spray and with foliate scrolls to the rim, covered overall with a sea-green glaze, the base with an unglazed ring with burnt orange wash, 36.2cm.
