A CHINESE IMPERIAL FAMILLE ROSE RUBY-GROUND MEDALLION BOWL
SIX CHARACTER JIAQING MARK AND OF THE PERIOD 1796-1820
The exterior finely decorated with four gilt-bordered roundels enclosing flowering sprays including peonies, peaches, hollyhocks and pomegranates, divided by stylised lotus scrolls reserved on a ruby sgraffiato ground, the interior painted with a flower basket encircled by four fruiting flower branches with lingzhi and auspicious emblems in underglaze blue, 14.7cm.
