19TH CENTURY
Modelled as a two-tiered hexagonal pagoda, the vertically mounted prayer sits behind pierced fence panels and six scrolling dragon columns which support the twin roofs and dragonhead buttresses with suspended bells, surmounted by a spindle, the base incised with a vishva vajra, 1.8kg, 39cm.
Provenance: from an English private collection, London, acquired prior to 2000.
