A SMALL COLLECTION OF JAPANESE PORCELAIN PIECES

EDO PERIOD, 18TH CENTURY

Comprising of three dishes and a large bowl, all typically decorated in underglaze blue, gilt, red, green and yellow enamels, variously painted with figures, flowers and brocade patterns, the largest plate with sixteen sides and with Chinese figures to the well, the characters fu, ki, cho, shun (riches, prosperity and eternal spring) inscribed underneath, 32.2cm max. (5)
