A PAIR OF JAPANESE BRONZE INCENSE BURNERS AND COVERS (KORO)
MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH/20TH CENTURY
Both with tall curved legs raised on an oval base, each decorated with tigers and writhing dragons emerging from scrolling clouds, the side handles shaped as mythical creatures; both lids topped with a crouching tiger, 33.5cm each. (4)
