A SMALL JAPANESE BRONZE VASE

MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY

The cylindrical body modelled as a trunk with leafy tendrils to the side, a small squirrel clinging onto the vine whilst holding a small gilt chestnut in its mouth, raised on a modern plexiglass stand, 11.8cm. (2)
