A JAPANESE BRONZE MODEL OF A POINTER
SHOWA ERA, DATED 1949
Realistically modelled, the dog with its front leg up and its tail straightened, raised on a rectangular base, the side with a long inscription possibly reading Kishino 1949, Kobayashi, Okamura, Ono sho Sensei, 30cm.
Provenance: an English private collection, Somerset, purchased in Japan.
