A JAPANESE THREE-CASE SILVER INRO
MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY
Decorated with a kaleidoscope of butterflies, the insects of various sizes fluttering across three sides, together with an en suite ojime decorated in openwork with further butterflies, the inro 8cm.
Provenance: formerly the collection of Virginia Atchley (1911-2013), Los Angeles.
