A JAPANESE FIVE-CASE GOLD, SILVER AND BLACK LACQUER INRO BY KOMA KORYU
EDO OR MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY
Both sides decorated in hiramaki-e and takamaki-e with large cranes, the elegant birds depicted standing in a variety of postures, the base signed Koma Koryu saku, together with a glass ojime, the inro 9cm.
Provenance: an English private collection, Somerset, purchased in Japan.
