An Austrian 11.15x58mmR M1867/77 Werndl infantry rifle, by Österreichische Waffenfabrik-Gesellschaft, barrel 33.5 in., tangent back sight graduated from 100-1400 paces; rotating breech block with external hammer, stocked to within 6 in. of the muzzle allowing clearance for a bayonet bar on the right of the barrel, steel furniture, steel clearing rod, various Austrian government marks.
