LATE 19TH / EARLY 20TH CENTURY
profusely carved with a central deity, flanked by a pair of winged beasts and surrounded by scrolling foliage, with birds and other animals, the hinged covers enclosing an interior with a velvet lined slope and a pair of metal capped glass inkwells
