with brown watered silk lined interior, lacking inner tray, stamped 'Asprey London' to the brass clasps, gilt initials 'L.N' beneath a coronet to the cover

The crest is for Lavinia, Duchess of Norfolk (1916-1995). Born Lavinia Mary Strutt, she married Bernard Fitzalan-Howard, 16th Duke of Norfolk in 1937.
