A pair of James I silver Apostle spoons, St. Matthew and St. Matthias,
by John Saunders, London 1615,
fig-shaped bowl, tapering faceted stem, the finials with traces of gilding and with a holy dove nimbus, the reverse of the bowls with scratch initials 'O' over 'IT', lengths 18.3cm and 17.8cm, approx. weight 3.5oz. (2)
