of rectangular form, with a central carrying handle and two hinged covers, the interior with a silver inkwell and sander, the other side with a wooden pen holder, on four scroll feet, the inside cover inscribed 'Lionel N de Rothschild from Londonderry and T. Londonderry October 1912'
