BY L. CRITCHON, LONDON, 1928
of rectangular form, with ring handles and four hinged covers, the interior with two silver-mounted glass inkwells, on four bun feet, the cover inscribed 'Edmund de Rothschild, Jan 12th 1929', the underside of the cover with a Hebrew inscription from 'Isaiah LXVI.22'
