An 18th century German silver kettle on a later stand,
the kettle with Frankfurt mark only, circa 1780, the unmarked stand 19th century,
globular form, chased foliate scroll and rocaille decoration, the hinged handle with two warrior heads and with leather mounts, engraved with a crest, the stand of circular form, on three scroll wire-work legs on three pad feet, height 27cm, approx. weight 31oz. (2)
