A George III silver swing-handled sugar basket,
by William Plummer, London 1772,
tapering circular form, pierced foliate and scroll decoration, rope-work and gadroon borders, pierced swing-handle, wavy-edge border, with a blue glass liner, on a circular foot, height 11.5cm, approx. weight 2.4oz.
The crest is that of Alexander, Church, Colville, Duggan and others.
