A Victorian novelty silver-gilt bag vinaigrette,
by D. Pettifer, Birmingham 1856,
rounded rectangular cushion form, chased foliate scroll decoration on a matted background, the hinged cover with engraved foliate scroll decoration, with a chain attachment, pierced and engraved foliate scroll grille, length 3.4cm, approx. weight 0.6oz.
