Description
A Victorian novelty silver-gilt book vinaigrette,
by Charles Rawlings and William Summers, London 1853,
the cover engraved with a building and a boat on water in front, within foliate scroll decoration, the back with similar decoration and a foliate centre, the spine with foliate decoration and inscribed 'Forget Me Not', with a ring attachment, the interior with a hinged pierced and engraved foliate scroll grille, length 3.9cm, approx. weight 0.9oz.
