A George III parcel-gilt silver vinaigrette,
by John Shaw, Birmingham 1811,
rounded rectangular form, with alternate bands of silver and silver-gilt decoration with engine-turning and a Greek key border, the hinged cover with a vacant cartouche, the interior with a gilded pierced and engraved foliate scroll grille, length 3.7cm, approx. weight 0.7oz.
