Description

A Victorian novelty silver and horn bird vesta holder or vinaigrette,

by Frederick James Wiltshire, London 1880,

perched on an electroplated branch, horn body, the underside with a striker, the hinged head with textured feathers and glass eyes, the interior with a pull-out unmarked pierced foliate scroll grille, length 9.7cm.
