Description

λAn 18th century silver-mounted shagreen etui,

unmarked, circa 1750, with a later French import mark,

tapering rounded rectangular form, applied with foliate scroll decoration, the hinged cover opens to reveal a spoon, two tapering knife handles, two knife blades, a steel two pronged fork, a pencil, a pair of compasses, a ruler, a pair of scissors, and an ivory note sleeve, length 9cm.

Provenance: A Private Collection.
