λA mid 18th century silver-mounted etui,
unmarked circa 1740,
tapering shaped rectangular form, plain mounted, the inside of the hinged cover engraved with a mask and foliate decoration, the interior fitted with an ivory sleeve, two tapering knife/fork handles, two steel knife blades, a two tined fork, a pair of scissors, a pair of tweezers and ear/dental scraper, a ruler, a pair of compasses, a bodkin, and a pencil, length closed 8.7cm.
